In most cases, no. Thanks to the low weight of the GetAway CS, a standard Category B driving licence is usually sufficient. However, we always recommend checking your vehicle’s towing capacity and the maximum permitted combined weight before travelling.

Thanks to its clever pop-top roof design, the GetAway CS remains compact and low while towing. When closed, it stands just 225 cm high. This improves aerodynamics, enhances driving comfort and reduces drag. It also helps keep the caravan stable behind the tow vehicle and allows access to many standard garages and height-restricted areas.

With its compact width of just 185 cm, the GetAway CS remains within the width of many tow vehicles. As a result, additional towing mirrors are often not required. However, we always recommend checking that you have sufficient visibility along both sides of the caravan before travelling.

The GetAway CS shares the same compact exterior dimensions as the GetAway LS. Including the drawbar, the caravan measures 546 cm in length and 185 cm in width, making it compact on the road and easy to manoeuvre. When closed, the GetAway CS has a height of 225 cm. With the pop-top roof raised, the overall height increases to 286 cm.

The GetAway CS is available in two versions: Sport and Xcite. Thanks to its low weight, it can be towed by a wide range of vehicles, including many electric and hybrid models. The GetAway CS Sport weighs 733 kg, while the GetAway CS Xcite weighs 745 kg.

The GetAway CS offers sleeping accommodation for two people as standard thanks to its fixed transverse bed. With the optional bunk bed, the caravan can accommodate up to four people. The fixed transverse bed measures a generous 2.10 x 1.45 metres, making it particularly suitable for taller people.
